Installation of a C compiler?

How can I install a C compiler programme eg POSIX compiler on my computer running XP home edition as I want to start practising my C programmes at home? Where can I get this POSIX compiler for C programmes?

Thanks

You can use Borland Turbo C Compiler.

You can download the complier and the Instructions from the above link.

If you need any further clarifications please get back to me.
Reply:I think you better use Borland compiler , to practise C , you can download it from the net , and once the download's done the installation is a piece of cake

enjoy ;)
Reply:I am not sure where you read this from but POSIX is just an OS standard definition not related to doing C stuff; perhaps you meant simple C commandline based compiler without editor and all that jazz, look for something call GCC on this, you may need a Linux-on-Windows entire OS suite call Cygwin to run GCC, I am not sure.
Reply:there is a software for installing c wich is available with engineers (those persons who hav installed everythng in ur pc)

i also hav c compiler
