Are there any open source compilers for any language written in C#?

If there aren't, how can I go about making a compiler for languages such as Java, C, C#, C++, Basic, Python, or Perl?

Are there any open source compilers for any language written in C#?

Since it's open sourced, perhaps you can find the code for the C# compiler somewhere inside?
Reply:why? you cannot find the source code or something?

and thanks for your rating! Report It

Reply:Mono is a C# compiler that allows you to run C# on Linux, Solaris, Mac OS X, Windows, and Unix. It is an open source project and Novell is sponsoring it.
